1. Overview

SMPLPXLS LLC ("SMPLPXLS," "we," "us," or "our") is a Washington-based company that designs and operates digital products, applications, and tools for the web and mobile devices. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information across our company and our properties, including smplpxls.com and any application we operate.

This is a company-wide policy. Specific applications under SMPLPXLS LLC may publish their own product-specific Privacy Policies that augment this policy with additional detail relevant to that product — for example, our investment-simulation app SMPLNVST publishes additional details about its data handling, billing partners, and retention rules at smplnvst.com/privacy. Where a product-specific policy exists, it sits on top of this one; this policy continues to apply except where the product policy explicitly covers the same topic in more detail.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on which SMPLPXLS service you use. In general, we collect only what is necessary to provide the service you've asked for:

• Account information. If a product offers user accounts, we collect what's needed to create and maintain your account — typically your name, email address, and (when you sign in through a third-party identity provider such as Google) profile information returned by that provider. We do not receive your password or access to other services held with that provider.
• Billing information. For subscription products, our payment partners (which may include Stripe, Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat depending on the product) collect and process your payment details. We never see or store your full payment card number, bank account number, or security code. We receive only what we need to manage entitlements — subscription status, plan, renewal date, and where applicable the last four digits of the card on file.
• Product activity. Data you create within a product (e.g., portfolios, drafts, settings, preferences) is stored and associated with your account so the product can function correctly.
• Usage data. Basic technical information such as device type, browser, operating system, and general usage patterns may be collected to help us diagnose issues and improve our products.

Browsing our marketing pages on smplpxls.com does not require an account and does not result in personally identifiable information being collected by SMPLPXLS beyond standard server and CDN logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the SMPLPXLS products you use, including creating accounts and storing your product data
• Process subscription billing, grant access to paid features, and manage the lifecycle of your subscription (trial, renewal, cancellation, refund) where applicable
• Improve the performance, reliability, and features of our products
• Communicate with you about important changes — security notices, billing notifications, subscription renewal reminders, and material updates to our policies
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

SMPLPXLS uses a small set of trusted infrastructure providers across all of its properties:

• Cloudflare. Hosts and delivers our marketing site and serves as the network and security layer in front of our applications. Governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Application-specific providers. Individual SMPLPXLS applications may rely on additional third-party services that are specific to that product. For example, our investment-simulation app SMPLNVST uses Google OAuth for sign-in, Supabase for its database and authentication backend, and RevenueCat together with Stripe (on the web) and Apple (on iOS) for subscription billing. The full list of providers used by SMPLNVST and the data they receive is published at smplnvst.com/privacy. Future SMPLPXLS applications will document their own third-party providers in their product-specific Privacy Policies.

5. Data Retention

Our general retention principles are:

• While your account is active. We retain the data associated with your account for as long as the account is active and you continue to use the product.
• On request or account deletion. When you delete your account in a product that supports deletion, we permanently remove your personal data from that product within a reasonable period (typically 30 days), subject to any records we are required to keep by law.
• Billing and tax records. Subscription and billing records are retained by our payment partners (e.g., Stripe, Apple, RevenueCat) in accordance with their own retention policies and applicable law — typically seven (7) years for tax and accounting compliance.
• Aggregated and anonymized data. Aggregated, de-identified usage information may be retained indefinitely to help us understand product performance and improve our services.

Specific applications may publish additional product-specific retention rules — for example, reset, dormancy, or grace-period policies — in their own Privacy Policies.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic, scoped database access on a per-account basis (so your data is not accessible to other users), and reliance on trusted infrastructure providers with their own security commitments. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

SMPLPXLS products are not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@smplpxls.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice through the affected product or by email. Continued use of any SMPLPXLS product after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Product-Specific Privacy Policies

Specific applications under SMPLPXLS LLC may publish their own product-specific Privacy Policies that augment this company-wide policy. For example, SMPLNVST publishes additional product-specific details at smplnvst.com/privacy. When you use a SMPLPXLS application, the product-specific policy (where one exists) and this company-wide policy both apply; the product policy controls where the two cover the same topic at different levels of detail.
